Chisinau, Oct. 27 /MOLDPRES/- Officials in Brussels appreciate the effort to transform our country and align it with European standards, but justice remains stagnant. Prime Minister Dorin Recean made the statements today. He called on justice people.

"I met in Brussels with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and several European commissioners. They appreciated our effort to transform the country, aligning it with European standards and demonstrated solidarity with us and an enormous effort of support. However, justice remains stagnant, it pulls us back. I want to once again appeal to people of justice who are fair, who are of integrity, to step forward. Because everyone sees we have a lot of corrupt people who, instead of going to prison, walk around the city, continue their criminal activity, continue their corrupt activity, including in the electoral process that will take place on November 5", said Recean.

On October 24-26, Recean paid an official visit to Brussels.
