Moldovan government approves National Plan for EU accession

Chisinau, Oct. 27 /MOLDPRES/- Today cabinet approved the National Action Plan for Moldova's accession to EU for 2024-2027, carried out in collaboration with numerous institutions and active consultations with civil society, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

The document is structured in accordance with the 33 chapters and includes seven compartments with the implementation measures of the actions, the responsible institutions, the deadlines and the sources of covering the planned expenses.

"Our national goal is to prepare Moldova for the accession to the European Union by 2030. From now on, the Plan represents our foundation for the EU accession process. We are committed to adjust and integrate European legislation within our national legislation", said Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration will ensure the overall coordination of the plan's implementation process, including after each EU Enlargement Report.
