GENERAL LOCAL ELECTIONS 2023: Synthesis of October 28

Chisinau, Oct. 28 /MOLDPRES/- Today's electoral agenda, October 28, included a public event, entitled Chisinau at PAS - the commitment for a comfortable city!, organized by the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) team, together with Lilian Carp, the PAS candidate for Chisinau mayor position.

Several members of the party talked about what the PAS team plans.

Also, Ruslan Codreanu, candidate for Chisinau mayor spoke in a press conference about what would motivate the inhabitants of the capital to vote for the party he represents.

A press conference was held today, organized by the Dignity and Truth Platform Party (DA), leader Dinu Plîngău. The politician was accompanied by a group of veterans of the War of Independence on the Dniester, who reconfirmed their support for the DA Platform.

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) approved, during today's meeting, several decisions aimed at organizing the general local elections on November 5, 2023.

Person responsible for finances (treasurer) of the Political Party "VOINȚA POPORULUI" for the period of the electoral campaign of the general local elections of November 5 was confirmed.

CEC changed the personnel status of the apparatus of the Electoral Council of the Chisinau municipal electoral constituency no.1 by supplementing it with a consultant unit.

At the same time, several people were accredited as observers during the meeting.

October 28, 2023, is the last day to submit applications for observer accreditation and interpreter registration.

CEC decisions will be published on the institution's website www.cec.md.
