On election day, Public Service Agency subdivisions to have special schedule

Chisinau, Nov. 1 /MOLDPRES/- Public Service Agency (ASP) informs Moldovan citizens with the right to vote that on Sunday, November 5, 2023, on election day, the territorial subdivisions of the institution will operate with a special work schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Upon request of Moldovan citizens over 18 years old, provisional identity cards will be issued and the previously requested identity cards will be handed over.

On November 5, 2023, the Public Services Agency will issue provisional identity cards free of charge, upon request of Moldovan citizens over 18 years old, who on election day will not have the identity documents required to vote as required by law.

ASP states that it is about those registered at home and/or temporary residence until 05.08.2023, as well as those who changed their home/temporary residence between 07.08.2023 and 03.11.2023 in the same administrative unit- territorial (community, city, municipality); students and pupils with the right to vote, registered at the educational institutions in the locality where they established their domicile or temporary residence after 05.08.2023, upon presentation of the student/pupil card.

"Moldovan citizens over 18 years old, who submitted the application for the issuance of the identity card between October 5 and November 2, 2023, can pick up the identity document until November 3", ASP said.
