Audiovisual Council suspends broadcast license of TV channel

Chisinau, Nov. 2 /MOLDPRES/- The Audiovisual Council (CA) has decided to suspend the broadcast license of Bravo TV for two months for the unjustified interruption of the activity repeatedly.

According to the CA, under the information from the media service distributors rebroadcasting the respective station and the response from Bravo TV SRL, it was found that on August 18 - October 10, 2023, the media service was not broadcast. "Therefore, an interruption of the provider's activity was carried out for a period of more than 10 days, which is a violation of the Audiovisual Media Services Code", the CA said.

Bravo TV SRL was sanctioned for the unjustified interruption of the activity repeatedly by two fines worth 43 thousand lei in 2022 and 25 thousand lei in July 2023.
