New station to monitor air's quality in area of cement mill from north Moldova city

Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ - A new station for the monitoring of the quality of air in the industrial area of the cement mill from the north Moldova Rezina city was inaugurated in the settlement today.   

According to the Environment Ministry, this initiative is aimed at improving the control and the quality of the environment in this important industrial zone. ‘’The monitoring of the air quality becomes ever more important, with the enhancement of the concerns dealing with the industrial impact on the environment and the public health,’’ Environment Minister Iordanca-Rodica Iordanov said.

The new monitoring station is endowed with modern technology, which will allow collecting accurate data on the quality of the air in real time.

The station for monitoring the air’s quality represents a significant step towards the protection of the environment and promotion of the sustainable development in the industrial area of the Rezina city. ‘’This project represents an example of efficient cooperation between the authorities and the community, for a cleaner and healthier future,’’  Iordanca-Rodica Iordanov added.
