European Commission to present 2023 Enlargement Package this week

Chisinau, Nov. 6 /MOLDPRES/- This week, the European Commission will present the 2023 Enlargement Package, in which it will assess whether the Republic of Moldova is ready to start accession negotiations. MEP Siegfried Mureșan made the statement.

This week is an important one for Moldova in Europe - the European Commission will present the 2023 Enlargement Package, in which it will assess whether the Republic of Moldova is ready to start accession negotiations.

"We, the European Parliament, are united in supporting the start of accession negotiations by the end of the year. Moldova is ready, Europe is ready", the MEP said.

He noted that the negotiations on EU budget for 2024 will also take place this week.
