Moldovan president visits Calarasi, Ungheni cities

Chisinau, Nov. 11 /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu visited the cities of Călăraşi and Ungheni yesterday, the presidential press service has reported.

The president said that together with the inhabitants of the cities, they were happy with the European Commission's decision which the other day, recommended the opening of negotiations for our country's accession to the EU: "people of Calarasi and Ungheni are great supporters of European integration. We still have a lot of work to do, but every step on the European road makes us more determined, stronger and more confident".

The head of state also declared that through work, unity and with the help of European partners we will continue to modernize our localities, build good roads, bring tap water to every house. "Locality by locality, man by man, we will develop all of Moldova together!", the president said.
