EU transfers 70 million to Moldova for payment of compensations for energy

Chisinau, 2 December /MOLDPRES/ - The European Union has transferred 70 million euros to Moldova as non-refundable budgetary support, meant for the energy vulnerability reduction fund.
According to the EU Delegation in Chisinau, the money will be used for the payment of the compensations in the energy invoice to the vulnerable people.
The installment of 70 million euros, disbursed is part of the budgetary support worth 105 million euros, announced by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during her visit to Chisinau in last October.
