Moldovan president has phone conversations with president of Cyprus, PM of Malta

Chisinau, 7 December /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has had phone conversations with President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides and Prime Minister of Malta Robert Abela, the presidential press service has reported.
The discussions were focused on the progress of the democratic reforms in Moldova within the process of accession to the European Union.
The head of state asked the European leaders to support the decision on starting of the negotiations with Moldova for the accession to EU at the meeting of the European Council on 14-15 December 2023.
