Head of State at Dreamicon Conference

Chisinau, 10 Dec. /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu welcomed on Saturday participants of the Dreamicon conference, the presidential press service has reported.

"Moldova has great potential for the development of technological and digital businesses: we have talented and brave people, high-speed internet and we promote a friendly fiscal policy. I spoke about this yesterday to local entrepreneurs in the digital technologies and foreign investors," the president said.

Maia Sandu said that jointly with the government and the parliament, she will encourage the culture of startups. An example is the program dedicated to supporting digital innovations and technological startups, launched by the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development. The program offers financing of up to 500 thousand lei for innovative ideas in the digital and IT sector.
