Deadline for submitting applications for subsidization of investments in stages expires on 15 December in Moldova

Chisinau, 12 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry (MAIA) today warned that 15 December would be the deadline for the submission of applications for the form of subsidization of investments in stages.
The payment of the investments in stages represents a subsidy provided progressively, within an investment project or its extension, which was positively evaluated by the Agency of Intervention and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA) and authorized for the payment of the subsidy and implementation of each stage. It is based on the costs fully borne by the applicant. ‘’The applications for subsidies meant for investments in stages can be submitted by farmers, private people or legal entities, no matter their legal status. They must carry out agricultural activities in Moldova,’’ MAIA said.
The applications can fit specific fields of support, such as the investments in the production, processing or sale or products in the vegetable sector; investments in the production, processing and sale of products in the vine-growing and wine-making sector; investments in the production, processing and sale of products in the animal husbandry sector.
„The payment of the investments in stages will be provided to the applicant for subsidy in line with the basic conditions: holding an investment project valid for 7 years and of a spending sheet; taking the commitment to financially contribute with at least 50 per cent of the investment project's value; holding by the applicant of the skills needed in the concerned field; the period of full implementation of the investment project is of up to 36 months, divided in three stages at the most, etc.,’’ the Ministry added.

AIPA will consider the applications on the providing of payments of investments in stages, according to the procedures stimulated in the regulation.
