Mobile veterinary clinic to be set up in Moldova

Chisinau, 12 December /MOLDPRES/ - The creation of a mobile veterinary clinic, endowed with modern equipment for diagnosis and for therapeutic interventions, on 11 December was considered at the headquarters of the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry, with the participation of representatives of the Veterinary Faculty Medicine from the Moldovan Technical University.    

The mobile clinic will allow providing quick assistance, in emergency situations, or if owners of animals have no possibility to go to a usual veterinary clinic.

„The initiative to set up a mobile veterinary clinic enjoys the ministry’s every support and financial resources might be allocated within the project, Investments in governance, agricultural growth and resilience, which will be launched next week. It is important that this clinic achieve the principal goals: improving the practical skills of students and teachers; providing consultancy and services dealing with treatments, in order to ensure animals’ health and well-being,’’ Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Vladimir Bolea said.    

Presently, a veterinary clinic for company animals is presently opened at the Veterinary Medicine Faculty. At the clinic, students daily make 2-3 surgical interventions, with possibility to get practical skills.
