Film-makers from 20 European countries participate in CinemaHora 2024 Forum in Chisinau

Chisinau, 16 December /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today participates in the opening of the CinemaHora 2024 Forum, which brings together film makers from 20 European countries for the first time in Moldova, the presidential press service has reported.

Maia Sandu appreciated the evolution of the Moldovan cinematography in the last years, noting that the state would further support the local cinematographic industry.

Also, the Moldovan president stressed that we are proud of the international gratitude of the film directors from Moldova and the local audience appreciated more and more films produced in Moldova.

The head of state urged the film makers from Moldova and the international ones to cooperate in co-productions, due to be focused on the difficult times, when we face a war at the border.
