Moldovan president hands more state distinctions

Chisinau, 27 December /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today awarded distinctions to more employees in the fields of education, health, local and central public administration more sportspeople, businesspeople, as well as victims of deportations. The distinctions were awarded as a token of high appreciation of their special merits before the state Republic of Moldova and the high professional mastership, the presidential press service has reported.     

The Moldovan president thanked those present for the fact that, through their work and the results achieved, they brought their considerable contribution to the country’s development. ‘’I am happy that, in all regions, there are people who contribute to the common good, for us to edify a country where people live better, a country where there is safety for citizens,’’ Maia Sandu said.   

The head of state also said that all those present at the ceremony of handing over the distinctions proved how much talent, dedication we have, how much kindness we have in our society; or it is important that we recognize and appreciate this dedication, this contribution to the common good.
