Moldovan PM approached measures to support business environment with entrepreneurs in Balti

Chisinau, Dec. 28 /MOLDPRES/- Government's actions aimed at developing the entrepreneurial class in the Republic of Moldova, the existing programs to stimulate business investments, the opening of new markets were discussed by Prime Minister Dorin Recean, on a working visit to Bălți, with entrepreneurs from the region and representatives of the Business Skills HUB, the government's communication department has reported.

The Prime Minister referred to the possibilities to expand the businesses in the municipality of Balti with the help of the 373 Program, launched by the Government. Through the Program, during the year, more than 100 entrepreneurs benefited from financial assistance of more than 1 billion lei. Among other actions of the Government, aimed at supporting the business environment, are de-bureaucratization, attracting foreign investments, liberalization of the market and implementation of projects to support small and medium-sized businesses.

"Entrepreneurs take risks, create jobs, pay salaries, invest in business development and need constant support from the authorities. We continue to open new markets, to attract foreign investment projects, to remove bureaucratic barriers", said Recean.

The discussions also referred to the existing possibilities in Balti for the business environment, the VAT subsidy mechanism, grants for increasing energy efficiency and projects regarding the digitization of public services, aimed at increasing the investment attractiveness of our country.

Business Skills Hub is a business center in Balti, opened with EU financial support.
