MPs voted on 122 draft laws in December

Chisinau, 4 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- In last December, MPs voted on 122 draft laws, 44 of them were approved in the first reading and 78 were adopted in the second reading.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, 57 drafts entered the legislative procedure.

According to statistics, of the total number of normative acts adopted in the second reading, 53 are laws and 23 are decisions. In the plenary session of the Parliament, 17 acts were examined aiming to adjust the national legislation to the European Union.

Among the legislative initiatives examined in the plenary session of Parliament are the Law on state budget for 2024, the state social insurance budget for 2024 and the draft of the mandatory health care insurance funds for 2024. Deputies also voted to increase allowances for veterans and their families, as well as the granting of one-off aids worth 120,000 lei for young specialists in the culture.

In last December Parliament convened in four plenary sessions.
