About 22 thousand consumers reconnected to electricity grid

Chisinau, 8 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Energy announced this evening that 21,807 consumers were reconnected to the electricity network by 3:30 p.m., including 10,141 consumers from the RED Nord area and 11,666 consumers from the Premier Energy Distribution.

"At 3:30 p.m., 7,315 consumers from 35 localities of Rezina, Florești, Sângerei and Râșcani districts, as well as 3,014 consumers from 11 localities from the Orhei and Anenii Noi districts were cut off power. 46 mobile teams and more than 100 specialists are working to repair power lines and reconnect consumers to the electricity network," the quoted source said.

In the event of an incident, notify the distribution network operator S.A. RED-Nord at number 0231 24 2 01 or Premier Energy Distribution at number 022 43 11 11, the Ministry of Energy said.
