About 170,000 citizens from Moldova's northern region benefit from development projects in 2023

Chisinau, 11 January /MOLDPRES/ - About 170,000 citizens from northern Moldova are among the direct and indirect beneficiaries of the regional projects implemented by the North Regional Development Agency (ADR Nord) in the 2023 year.
According to ADR Nord, the achievement of this goal was possible following the carrying out of diverse strategic planning activities, cooperation with national and international partners and the implementation of the infrastructure projects with regional impact.
„During the 2023 year, we carried out multiple activities of strategic planning and projects’ implementation, aimed at achieving the regional development goals in such intervention sectors as the supply with water and sewerage, enhancement of the tourist attractiveness, urban development and energy efficiency of public buildings. We also carried out activities of promoting the North Development Region as an attractive destination for investors and tourists. The carrying out of these activities implied a high level of cooperation with regional, national and international partners,’’ ADR Nord noted.
The main goals of ADR Nord for 2024 are: ensuring the access to qualitative public utilities, facilitation of the economic growth, attraction of investments in the region and improvement of the governance regionally. ‘’ADR Nord will continue turning to good account the relations it has developed with the foreign partners,’’ the quoted source added.
