Moldova, Spain to sign agreement on mutual recognition of driver's licences

Chisinau, 17 January /MOLDPRES/ - The members of the parliamentary commission for foreign policy and European integration today approved the starting of the negotiations and the approval of the signing of the Agreement between Moldova and Spain on mutual recognition and conversion of the national driver’s licences.     

The agreement sees that both the citizens of Moldova and the ones of Spain will benefit from the right to convert the driver’s licence, with the observance of the administrative formalities established by the legislation of the two countries.  

The signing of this Agreement is aimed at simplifying the procedure of conversion of the driver’s licences for these holders of these documents, as well as at facilitating the road traffic between the two states.  

Presently, Moldova has concluded similar agreements with Turkey, Lithuania and Italy.
