Chisinau, 18 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- According to the information spread in the public space in the Transnistrian region on the intention to impose so-called illegal customs payments on the owners and people who work agricultural land in Dubăsari district, we note that the issue was discussed at the recent meeting in 1+1 format in Tiraspol, the Bureau of Reintegration Policies has reported.

I was convinced that Chisinau's message was heard and understood. The political representative in the negotiations on the Transnistrian settlement in Tiraspol was notified repeatedly in writing immediately after this information, with the request for the clarification of the position on the matter within a short period of time. Chisinau urges Tiraspol to give up any restrictive actions that will limit the free passage to the agricultural lands in Dubăsari district, located along the Tiraspol-Camenca route, an action that will only lead to an increase in tensions between the two banks.

We remind that currently 15 economic agents from Cocieri, Molovata Nouă, Coșnița and Doroțcaia in Dubăsari district have stored in grain production warehouses, located along the Tiraspol-Camenca route, about 957 tons of corn, 776 tons of sunflowers, 766 tons of wheat and 50 tons of barley. In addition to the limitation by Tiraspol of the period for transporting this seed material, the problem of imposing it on illegal customs payments may also arise when passing through the unauthorized infrastructure of Tiraspol's checkpoints. The issue will also be discussed during the working visit of deputy prime minister for reintegration in Dubăsari district, planned for next week.
