Moldovan president in discussion with entrepreneurs of Fălești

Chisinau, 21 Jan. /MOLDPRES/-Visiting Fălești district, President Maia Sandu met with several businessmen of the region, the presidential press service has reported.

"Today at Fălești, I talked to several entrepreneurs, who through work, initiative and courage demonstrate that it is possible to build well-being at home. I thanked the businessmen for their contribution to the public budget, for opening jobs in their communities and for choosing to trust in the future of Moldova and build businesses at home," the head of state emphasized.

The president spoke about reducing bureaucracy and the business support programs - no unnecessary procedures, zero tolerance for possible abuses by officials and financial resources for development, such as the 373 Program of the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development.

"Last year, farmers of Fălești benefited from subsidies worth 22 million lei. We discussed the efforts we are making to open new markets for Moldovan products. Together we will build a strong and competitive economy", Maia Sandu said.
