Moldovan president: Our people know how to admire beauty

Chisinau, 22 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Head of State Maia Sandu watched last night together with Fălești residents the film "Carbon", financialy supported by USAID Moldova, the presidential press service has reported.

"Our people know how to admire beauty and are eager for art. More and more quality cultural events are taking place outside the capital and I thank our partners for helping us develop not only our economy and infrastructure, but also our culture. Access to quality books, films and shows is vital to build a society with dignified people, who think freely and can differentiate between good and bad," Maia Sandu said.

The film "Carbon" has already won numerous awards, including the National Award, and on National Day of Culture Maia Sandu awarded director of this film Ion Borș the title of Master of Arts.
