Moldovan parliament's standing bureau adopts 36 decisions in 2023

Chisinau, 22 January /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament’s standing bureau in 2023 held 36 meetings, during which it adopted 36 decisions.  

According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, among the decisions approved, there was the parliament’s legislative agenda for 2024, the plan of ex post evaluation of the normative acts for this year, the framework regulation on the organization and work of the councils of experts under the parliament’s standing commissions, the Classified List of the parliament’s files, amendments to the nominal composition of the parliamentary commissions and of the parliament’s delegations to the international parliamentary organizations. At the spring session, the parliament’s standing bureau held 21 meetings and approved 23 decisions.   

Another 14 meetings of the standing bureau took place at the parliament’s autumn session, within which 12 decisions were adopted. At the same time, the members of the standing bureau convened at a meeting outside the two sessions of the parliament, during which it adopted a decision on the summoning of the parliament’s extraordinary meeting.

The standing bureau is the parliament’s working bureau and has as  powers the proposal as to the date of summoning the plenary meetings, approval of the agenda of the plenary meetings, preparation for ensuring the carrying out of the parliament’s works, establishing the way of public discussion of the draft legislative acts, coordination of the work of the standing commissions.
