Chisinau, 23 January /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has discussed with the beneficiaries of the programme of training probationary stage in state’s institutions. Young people today came to the parliament and told about the experience they had at the State Chancellery, ministries or at the parliament, the legislative body’s communication and public relations department reported.

„Our task is to provide you with as many opportunities as possible. Due to the training probationary stage, you understand what working at a public institution means, what the processes of elaboration and implementation of normative acts implies. I am sure that you have got skills which will be useful in your career,’’ Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu said.

Presently, 30 young people with ages between 18 and 29 years are beneficiaries of the programme of paid probations in state’s institutions. The programme was launched, in order to facilitate the transition from the education system to the labour market. In the long run, the authorities are set to provide 300 places of probation to young graduates. ‘’I wish you success and I would like you to convey your experience to other colleagues as well,’’ Igor Grosu added.

The legislative initiative which sees the providing of paid probations in the public sector was approved by the Parliament in last May. The selection of probationers is made based on contest and the duration of one programme is up to six months. On this period, young people benefit from a monthly scholarship worth 3,000 lei. Moreover, the period of the probation programme will be calculated as length of service and the best probationers can be employed in a public office of execution, without the need of professional experience or organization of a contest.
