Over 120 entrepreneurs attend Moldova - Romania business forum

Chisinau, Feb. 1 /MOLDPRES/- Over 120 entrepreneurs of Moldova and Romania participated in the Moldovan-Romanian business forum, organized in Chisinau in the context of the 21st edition of Made in Moldova exhibition.

President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Moldova Sergiu Harea voiced confidence that Romanian companies can find a reliable partner in Moldova. "The intensification of Moldovan-Romanian commercial-economic relations, the identification of new business opportunities, the establishment of direct collaboration contacts with Romanian businessmen, the encouragement of investments are goals we pursue in all the activities that we organize recently with our colleagues from the CCI of Romania, either here with us or across the Prut", Harea said.

First Collaborator of the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau Ovidiu Naftănăilă said that Moldova has taken important steps in recent years that have led to the creation of conditions for the business environment on both banks of the Prut to be much more productive, working together.

"We support the European path of the Republic of Moldova and we encourage Moldovan companies to be open, to learn from our experience, to harmonize their standards and not be shy to access the European market", President of Iași Chamber of Commerce and Industry Paul Butnariu said.

The forum ended with bilateral meetings between companies from the Republic of Moldova and Romania. The event is part of the Business Program of the 21st edition of Made in Moldova, held on January 31 - February 4 at Moldexpo.
