Moldovan diplomacy head has phone conversation with Czech foreign affairs minister

Chisinau, 1 January /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Mihai Popsoi has had a phone conversation with Foreign Affairs Minister of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavský, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.

The officials discussed the bilateral relations between Moldova and the Czech Republic, the assistance for boosting the commercial and economic relations between the two countries, as well as the security situation in the region.

”We referred to the promotion of our country’s agenda of reforms, in the context of the starting of the negotiations on accession to the European Union, as well as the steps which we are to make on the next period. Minister Lipavský said the Czech Republic would back Moldova’s European integration, assuring us of every support to this end,’’ the Moldovan diplomacy head said.

Thus, Minister Popsoi made an invitation to this Czech counterpart to visit Moldova.
