Banned weapons list to be extended

Chisinau, Feb. 7 /MOLDPRES/- A draft law on extending the list of prohibited firearms and ammunition has been examined by the parliamentary commission for national security, defense and public order.

Thus, the list was expanded by several positions – automatic weapons converted into semi-automatic weapons; semi-automatic weapons with central percussion and short barrel that allow the launch of more than 21 cartridges; long-barreled semi-automatic weapons capable of firing more than 11 rounds without loading.
