Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/ - Seventy Moldovan MPs today voted a draft law which sees the extension of the list of banned fire arms and ammunitions.

Thus, the list of banned fire arms and ammunitions was extended with several positions: automatic arms turned into semi-automatic arms; semi-automatic arms with central percussion and short stock, which allow the launch of over 21 cartridges; semi-automatic arms with long stock, which allow the launch of 11 cartridges without charging.

Also, interdictions will be imposed for the operations with charges for the semi-automatic fire arms, which can contain over 20 cartridges of more than 10 cartridges in the case of the fire arms with long stock.

The authors proposed the completion of the Law on the regime of arms and ammunitions on civilian purpose with new notions, such as: ‘’ammunition with explosive projectiles,’’ ‘’ammunition with fire projectiles,’’ ‘’ammunition perforated projectiles.’’
