Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration has meeting with representatives of civil society organizations

Chisinau, February 16 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov had a meeting with representatives of civil society organizations, members of the National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum.

According to the government's communication department, the parties discussed the developments on the European integration agenda, including the start of the evaluation process of national legislation with that of the EU.

The ways in which civil society can contribute to the advancement of the European integration process were also analyzed.

"We are open to any proposals that will help us work more effectively together in the negotiation process. Civil society organizations are an essential pillar in building a more united, more democratic and more prosperous European community. That's why we count on their support, because European integration is not the project of a politician, a government or a party, but a national objective," said Gherasimov.
