Chisinau, April 5 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan students will continue to benefit from scholarships in educational institutions abroad. The law approving the Agreement on the Central European University Exchange Program (CEEPUS IV) was published in the Official Journal today and entered into force.

The Agreement was extended for a period of seven years. It sees encouraging the participation of students, researchers, teachers and administrative staff in academic mobility, research programmes, internships or professional activities in higher education institutions in the contracting states of the Agreement.

The document sets out that the Republic of Moldova will also offer scholarships to foreign nationals.

The Agreement was signed last year in Warsaw.

The Republic of Moldova has been part of the programme since 2011. The signatory countries of the Agreement are Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
