PHOTO Nine ANOFM territorial offices, four town halls set up spaces for children

Chisinau, April 9 /MOLDPRES/- Nine territorial offices of the National Agency for Employment (ANOFM) and four town halls have set up spaces dedicated to children. The furniture installed and school supplies were purchased with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Through this initiative, UNDP is supporting public institutions to become more accessible and child-friendly, helping to expand access to public services for parents, including their return to work, especially for women.

One of ANOFM's territorial subdivisions that now offers employee and beneficiary-friendly services for children is the one in Calarasi. "This is a welcome project for all public institutions, which supports the harmonious development of children and facilitates parents' access to the public services they need", said the head of the Directorate General for Employment Calarasi, Elena Lungu.

Under this project, UNDP has provided 93 thousand lei (about 4,650 euros) for the purchase of installed furniture and school supplies.
