Chisinau, April 10 /MOLDPRES/- Young people will be more motivated to work in state institutions and the attractiveness of the public sector will increase. The Cabinet of Ministers has approved amendments to the Law on paid internships in public service.

The draft provides for reducing the number of internship hours from 720 to 480, which will reduce the time needed for training and adaptation of interns and will allow faster integration of young specialists into the work of the public authority.

The document also regulates the possibility to employ people who have completed externally paid internship programmes. The draft also expands the list of institutions where traineeships can be carried out and the number of places for paid internships in the public service.

For the next edition of internships, with recruitment in May-June, 150 places are planned.
