Chisinau, April 11 /MOLDPRES/ - The National Road Transport Agency (ANTA) has received a new batch of technical equipment from the World Bank. It includes 25 portable printers, which together with the laptops already received in March, will provide a mobile solution to carry out checks in traffic and at the road transport operators' offices.

The equipment provided by the World Bank will also help increase the satisfaction of road transport operators through simplified procedures and reduced waiting time, printing of detailed documents containing all relevant information about the control.

The purchase was made by the World Bank through the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Competitiveness Project, which promotes the digitisation and modernisation of public services, facilitating access to innovative technology and creating a more favourable environment for the development of the road transport sector.

Through the same project, in late March, ANTA inspectors received 25 high-performance laptops for employees involved in road traffic control operations.
