Moldovan president meets Spanish official

Chisinau, April 18 /MOLDPRES/- Head of State Maia Sandu welcomed the agreement between Moldova and Spain, signed today by Interior Minister Adrian Efros and his Spanish counterpart Fernando Grande-Marlaska.

The document allows Moldovans living in Spain to exchange their Moldovan driving licences for Spanish ones without additional tests, and before that to drive temporarily with Moldovan driving licences.

"Good news for Moldovans settled in Spain. A more comfortable life for our citizens both in the country and in the diaspora is a priority in all my discussions with other heads of state and government", said Maia Sandu.

The official praised the strengthening of bilateral relations and Spain's firm support for Moldova's accession to the European Union.
