Moldovan, Austrian officials approach relations, reforms

Chisinau, May 8 /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov concluded her working visit to Vienna yesterday evening with a discussion with Christoph Matznetter, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Austria, and members of the parliamentary committee, the government's communication department has reported.

The official thanked the Austrian MPs for the opportunity to talk to them about our reform agenda and the steps taken in the EU pre-accession process. At the same time, she expressed gratitude for Austria's constant support and assistance for the development of our country.

"I also said we will do our utmost to ensure that the Republic of Moldova will have a European path as soon as possible, thus providing our citizens with a higher quality of life and a peaceful and safe living space. This is the future we want, for which we have a precise plan and for which we are working every day", Gherasimov said.
