Moldovan president announces First Home PLUS program

Chisinau, May 15 /MOLDPRES/ - On International Family Day, President Maia Sandu says we need as many happy families here at home in Moldova as possible and for this we must improve their living conditions.

"In many discussions I have in villages and towns across the country, young people often talk about the problem of housing space. It is quite complicated for many of them to manage to collect money for a small house or to buy an apartment," Maia Sandu said.

She also said she had discussed with government representatives to extend the First Home program, to come up with a new program - First Home PLUS - to provide access to these resources to more young people, not just those working in state institutions. 

"We want to see as many young people as possible settling here at home, starting families and raising happy children. On this occasion, I wish you all health, peace and joy in raising your children", Maia Sandu said.
