Chisinau, 16 May /MOLDPRES/ - The state enterprise, Chisinau International Airport, has been included in the list of assets which cannot be privatized. The head of the parliamentary commission for economy, budget and finances, Radu Marian, has submitted an amendment to this effect to the draft on amendment of the Law on the enforcement of international restrictive measures. The document today was adopted by 55 lawmakers in the second reading.

Thus, the state enterprise, Chisinau International Airport, was included in the list of assets not liable to privatization, in line with the provisions of the Law on the mechanism of considering the investments of importance for the state’s security. At the same time, the takeoff and landing runways, the movement roads and the platforms for embarkation and disembarkation, the ones for parking airships and other objects of the Airport’s infrastructure, as well as the grounds on which they are placed deal with the public domain.

The amendment also sees that the Public Property Agency (APP), in its capacity of founder, will be able to settle the difficulties emerged in the process of holding tenders for the selection of commercial spaces meant for public nourishment and trade for the sterile area at the headquarters of the Chisinau International Airport.

The draft on amendment of the Law on the enforcement of the international restrictive measures, adopted by the parliament, contains a string of provisions for ensuring the efficient and exhaustive enforcement of the international restrictive measures. The legislative initiative belongs to a group of MPs of the faction of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS). At the same time, the document contains certain specifications about the categories of people who will be included in the list of persons related to the subject of restriction.

Also, the authors included the State Fiscal Service (SFS) and the Public Services Agency (ASP) in the list of authorities to which the Intelligence and Security Service (SIS) will submit the order on the approval or change of the list of people related to the subjects of the international restrictions. Another provision of the draft law regards the providing of additional powers to SIS, which, with information support of the Service for the Prevention and Combating of Money Laundering, will elaborate and approve the list of legal entities as concerns whom there is documented information showing that they are under the control of a subject of the restrictions or have a subject of restrictions as beneficiary.
