Euro, U.S. dollar cheapen against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 17 January /MOLDPRES/ - The single European currency and the U.S. dollar will cheapen against the Moldovan leu on 18 January.

Thus, the dollar on 18 January will cost 19.04 lei, down by 0.04 lei. The European single currency will cheapen by 0.04 lei too and will have an official price of 20.62 lei.

The National Bank of Moldova established an official exchange rate of 4.18 lei for the Romanian leu. The Russian rouble will continue to cost 0.27 lei. The Ukrainian hryvnia will stay at the quotation of 0.51 lei.
