European Commission proposes addition of macro-financial assistance to Moldova

Chisinau, 24 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen proposes to supplement the macro-financial assistance to Moldova with 145 million euros. The statement was made today.

"We stand in solidarity with Moldova as the shock waves of Russia's brutal war continue to affect the country. Today we propose to supplement macro-financial assistance to Moldova with 145 million euros. This will greatly support the country's economy and energy security" , said Ursula von der Leyen.
