Exhibitions MOLDAGROTECH, FARMER from 2020 to be staged in open air nearby Moldovan capital
Chisinau, 8 October /MOLDPRES/ - The exhibitions MOLDAGROTECH (autumn) and FARMER, the 2020 issue, will be organized in new format and in another location.
Thus, the traditional agro-industrial week will be held in open field at the Porumbeni Plant Growing Institute from the Pascani village, central Criuleni district on 14-17 October. So far, these exhibitions have been staged at the Chisinau-based Moldexpo Centre; yet, the schedule was changed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will include the international specialized exhibition MOLDAGROTECH (autumn), the 37th edition, the international specialized exhibition and fair FARMER, the 23rd issue and the Golden Autumn fair. ‘’Their goal is to facilitate the communication and partnerships between producers and dealers of agricultural technology with farmers from Moldova, to identify the best solutions, to study international experiences and establish the vectors of agriculture’s development from the country,’’ the Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Ministry (MADRM) said.
About 50 companies from Moldova, Romania and Ukraine will participate in the exhibition. Among them, there are international projects for developing agriculture in Moldova, producers and distributors of agricultural machines, inventory and equipment for the agro-industrial complex, banks and financial funds, research institutes, as well as agricultural producers and farmers from Moldova, who will become the event’s protagonists.
„The exhibitions will comprise supplies of modern equipment, technologies and materials, solutions to assist farmers, including on issues dealing with the sowing of winter crops, getting richer harvests, preparation for the agricultural season from the next year. Also, within the FARMER exhibition and fair, technologies, materials and instruments will be presented for an efficient work of farms, as well as products of farms,’’ MADRM sources noted.
The organization of exhibitions in open air spaces of the Porumbeni Plant Growing Institute gives possibility of a comprehensive presentation of agricultural machines. According to the source, tractors, machines for tilling the land, sowers, machines for applying fertilizers and plants’ protection, equipment for harvesting agricultural crops and making fodder, equipment for the post-harvesting land tilling and depositing crops will be set to work.
The participants in the exhibitions will present machines and equipment for agriculture both of local trademarks and from top world producers. Taking into account the huge importance of the irrigation for Moldova, the exhibition displays advanced drop-by-drop irrigation systems. Also, the participants in the exhibition will present combined fodder, seed material, hybrids, veterinary medicines. A separate segment of the exhibition will be dedicated to fertilizers for the development and enhancing the productivity of agricultural crops.
Visitors will be able to buy also organic products directly from local producers – vegetables, fruits, including wood fruits; products from fresh meat; fragrant spices; many varieties of flowers and seeding material; honey and apicultural products.
The exhibitions MOLDAGROTECH (autumn) and FARMER 2020 are organized by the Moldexpo International Exhibitions Centre, in partnership with the Porumbeni Plant Growing Institute, with the official support of the Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Ministry.
