
Moldova Business Week-2020 to be held in digital format
Chisinau, 30 October /MOLDPRES/ - The local and international business community will explore new global tendencies and will discover Moldova’s investment potential at the seventh issue of the forum Moldova Business Week (MBW), which has already started the participants’ registration. The event will be held on 19-20 November in digital format and is organized by the Investments Agency.
According to the institution, the edition of this year gives the participants the chance to explore strategies of global changes through the light of special guests, visionaries of international stature and business people. ‘’It is about Michio Kaku – American physicists and futurologist of Japanese origin, author of more bestseller books, well-known speaker and influencer, co-founder of the string theory and professor at the department of theoretical physics Henry Semat from the Graduate Center, City University from New York. As futurist, Kaku predicts tendencies which hit the business, finances and the lifestyle. Another participant is Binod Kumar Chaudhary – businessman, political figure and philanthropist from Nepal. He is president of the Chaudhary Group and of CG Corp Global, which comprises 160 companies and 123 brands. He was recognized as the richest person from Nepal and the only billionaire of this country, with a wealth estimated at 1.7 billion dollars in 2019,’’ sources from the Investments Agency said.
Other international guests, governmental employees and representatives of the national business environment will participate in the event too. The participants will learn from MBW 2020 speakers about the impact of the mega-trends on the global value chains and foreign direct investments, as well as the way Moldova can exceed investors’ expectations, giving access to a market with more the one billion potential consumers.
At the same time, the forum’s platform will be the place where companies from the sectors of Information Technologies and Communications and BPO, electronics, fashion and agro-food sector will unveil their investment profile and partnership offer. Also at the event, the super brands Made in Moldova will share the experience of their ascension globally, serving as source of inspiration for other entrepreneurs.
Moldova Business Week is the country’s biggest economic platform, created in order to promote Moldova’s image, stimulate the flows of investments, inform about opportunities provided by the Moldovan government, analyze tendencies in the field, as well as to present the success stories of the investment projects implemented in Moldova.
