Moldovan National Food Safety Agency orders withdrawal of consignment of medication for veterinary use from market
Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/ - The National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) has ordered the withdrawal of a consignment of medicines for veterinary use, as their qualitative composition does not meet the requirements provided for by the legislation.
„Following the laboratory tests carried out, decision-makers found out the non-compliance of the quality of the sample collected from the consignment of medication for veterinary use Brovomast 2D with the series No 496,’’ the Agency said.
Also, ANSA undertook the measures needed and prescribed the interdiction of sale and the urgent withdrawal of the non-conform consignment identified. A batch of 767 packages was withdrawn for this, with the ordering of inoffensive destruction.
The National Food Safety Agency warns veterinary physicians, legal entities and private people, who have medicines of veterinary use Brovomast 2D of the series No 496, about the need to return it to the distributor of the medicine with veterinary use.
