MPs appoint new member of Court of Accounts
Chisinau, Nov. 17 /MOLDPRES/- Parliament today approved Sergiu Știrbu's candidacy for the position of member of the Court of Accounts for a five-year term.
Sergiu Știrbu was nominated as winner of the public competition.
In line with the Law on organization and operation of the Court of Accounts, the members of the institution are appointed by the Parliament with the vote of the majority of the elected deputies, for a term of five years, upon the proposal of the president of the Court of Accounts.
