
Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/ - The members of the Joint Control Commission (JCC) held an ordinary weekly meeting today, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The participants in the meeting approved as experts a representative on behalf of Moldova’s delegation and one member delegated to JCC on behalf of Russia.
The Joint Military Command reported the situation in the Security Zone and set forth aspects dealing with the incidents which occurred in the Chitcani village (25 and 26 September 2023) and Gisca village (5 September this year), where fragments of a presumed missile were identified.
As a result of this, the Commission asked the Joint Military Command to enforce all leverages for the comprehensive examination of the incidents which occurred in the Security Zone.
Also, the Commission members in behalf of Moldova reiterated the subject on the posts unilaterally set by the Tiraspol power wielding structures and the issue of their removal from the Security Zone, which stays a priority one on the agenda of the Moldovan delegation.
