
Moldovan deputy premier meets Finland's ambassador
Chisinau, Nov. 9 /MOLDPRES/- The Transnistrian settlement process, energy crisis, complex regional situation were the topics addressed today at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian and Ambassador of Finland to Moldova, residing in Bucharest, Marjut Akola.
According to the Reintegration Policy Office, the agenda of the talks focused on the opportunities to strengthen bilateral relations on the political-diplomatic, economic, sectoral levels, as well as topical issues at the European level, against the background of the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and its consequencesl.
The Finnish official assured of the support shown by the authorities of his country for the peaceful Transnistrian settlement within the internationally recognized borders of the Republic of Moldova, as well as for the country's European integration, the development and deepening of the bilateral dialogue being agreed upon for the benefit of both states.
