Moldovan deputy premier received 23 ambassadors for Eastern Partnership
Chisinau, April 26 /MOLDPRES/- The head of Moldovan diplomacy, Nicu Popescu, met with Dirk Schuebel, European External Action Service Special Representative for the Eastern Partnership and 22 ambassadors of the EU member states responsible for the EaP, the MAEIE press service has reported.
The officials discussed the the country's European integration and the progress achieved in the implementation of the nine recommendations of the European Commission.
"In this context, we also referred to the recent visit to Brussels, during which we handed over the contributions of the Republic of Moldova to the EU Enlargement Report for 2023.
We also highlighted the authorities' firm commitment to continue implementing the reform agenda, so as to launch EU accession negotiations in the near future. We referred to the ways of using the EaP instruments to support the European integration of the Republic of Moldova", Popescu said.
