Moldovan foreign affairs minister has phone conversartion with Russian diplomacy head
Chisinau, 4 December /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Aureliu Ciocoi today had a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. The two officials discussed the current files in the bilateral relation, highlighting the importance of continuous promotion of an active and pragmatic dialogue on up-to-date subjects in the Moldovan-Russian relations, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.
The foreign affairs ministers stressed, in the context, the need to maintain a dynamic communication between the foreign affairs ministries. The sides agreed on the organization, in the near time, of the next round of inter-ministerial consultations, according to the plan on consultations between the foreign affairs ministries of both countries.
A distinct subject of the conversation represented the developments in the Transnistrian settlement process. Also, the officials exchanged opinions on regional and international subjects.
