Moldovan foreign minister receives Iranian ambassador

Chisinau, 21 April /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today received Kiev-based Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Moldova Mohammad Beheshti Monfared, on a working visit to Moldova, accompanied by a group of Iranian business people, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

The officials tackled subjects on the present stage and prospects for developing the relations between the two countries, in particular, concerning the promotion of the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties.

The sides confirmed mutual interest in boosting the Moldovan-Iranian cooperation, especially in the agro-food sector, industry and transports, as well as in strengthening the bilateral legal framework.
