Moldovan-German business forum held in Chisinau
Chisinau, 29 September /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu, along with President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier today participated in the opening of the Moldovan-German business forum, held in Chisinau. Attending the event were entrepreneurs and representatives of business associations from the two countries, the presidential press service has reported.
In her greeting message, President Maia Sandu urged the guests from Germany to invest in Moldova and establish new contacts with potential partners from the country. ‘’To encourage this, the authorities are set to ensure a friendly business climate, in which the relations with the business are based on clear-cut, transparent rules, with a functional justice and without corruption. The state wants to be the partner of business people, not their watchman,’’ the head of state said.
The Moldovan president also said that Moldova needed honest and visionary entrepreneurs, in order to enhance the well-being of the country’s people. ‘’We need transparent investments, which are to create jobs and give a new breathing to our villages and towns,’’ Maia Sandu stressed.
